{"id":253,"date":"2007-07-17T10:22:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-17T17:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fourchinnigan.com\/blog\/?p=253"},"modified":"2013-09-08T14:35:03","modified_gmt":"2013-09-08T21:35:03","slug":"riding-shotgun-debuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fourchinnigan.com\/blog\/?p=253","title":{"rendered":"Riding Shotgun Debuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in February, I was moved to a new department at work, the TP Digital department.<br \/>\nMy new title became &#8220;Senior Motion Graphics Artist&#8221; and I am now responsible for creating what Tokyopop calls iManga.<br \/>\nTrying to describe what I do to people has been difficult and confusing for all parties involved.<br \/>\nWell, now you can go to Myspace and see for yourself.<\/p>\n<p><b>Starting yesterday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/tokyopoptv\">TOKYOPOP TV<\/a> debuted on Myspace TV.<\/b><br \/>\nEvery Tuesday for the next four weeks, you can see my work on the <b><i>Riding Shotgun<\/i><\/b> iManga. I was (and still am) responsible for the direction and animation of each episode.<br \/>\nThe fantastic coloring was all handled by my assistant, Kimie.<br \/>\nThe story is a direct adaptation of the comic by Nathaniel Bowden and Tracy Yardley.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursdays, be sure to check out the <b><i>Bizenghast<\/i><\/b> iManga done by my coworker, Kris.<br \/>\nHe does some really nice stuff with the imagery of the series.<\/p>\n<p>On Mondays and Wednesdays, you can see 3D CG versions of <b><i>I Luv Halloween<\/i><\/b> and <b><i>A Midnight Opera<\/i><\/b>.
