It is hopefully a prelude to many more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.butcherbirdstudios.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Butcher Bird Studios<\/a> outdoor videos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to our other productions,\u00c2\u00a0Butcher Bird Studios is moving into outdoor and adventure video. The quadcopter is the latest tool we&#8217;ve adopted to aid in that pursuit and our other production work. In September of 2013 we ventured into the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ansel_Adams_Wilderness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ansel Adams Wilderness<\/a> to test the copter and our own abilities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aerial Footage shot with <a href=\"http:\/\/gopro.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoPro HD Hero 3<\/a> on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dji.com\/phantom-all\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DJI Phantom<\/a>.<br \/>\nBehind the Scenes footage shot with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/646908-REG\/Canon_3814B004_EOS_7D_SLR_Digital.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon 7D<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/pro.sony.com\/bbsc\/ssr\/product-NEXFS700U\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sony FS700<\/a>.<br \/>\nInterviews shot with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/608940-REG\/Panasonic_DMC_GH1K_Lumix_DMC_GH1_Digital_Camera.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Panasonic GH1<\/a>.<br \/>\nAudio recorded with <a href=\"http:\/\/tascam.com\/product\/dr-100\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tascam DR100<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additional aerial footage shot in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/jotr\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joshua Tree National Park<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainproject.com\/v\/texas-canyon\/106644136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Texas Canyon<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been working on this piece in my &#8220;spare&#8221; time for a few weeks now.
