WOP Music Video

Earlier this year I worked on a music video for a band called Winds of Plague. The song is called The Impaler. It was directed by Jacob Avignone and Tony Ushino. I composited the last half of the video. I think you’ll be able to tell where the stuff I worked on starts without me specifying the exact time-code. Watch The Impaler Video Here.

Le Moodoo Stripes

Today was an interesting day. Moodoo Puppets was paid to take part in the filming of the White Stripes’ new music video for My Doorbell. It all took place in Hollywood’s “Magic Castle” (pictured above). The oddest part is what they had Mike and I do.

In the video, a mob of kids dressed as dapper young ‘uns as they may have appeared in say the 40s are watching the Stripes perform on a small stage in the castle. The kids dance, jump around, laugh, cry, whatever. We were paid to set up the puppet show on stage where the Stripes performed later and entertain the children. Thus the children’s reactions to the band you’ll see in the video are in actuality their reactions to our puppetry. Fun stuff.
